I did it
I bought the Subaru Forester. The color I liked finally came in and I took it for a test drive. They got the price down to what I can afford to pay, plus my insurance is supposed to go down, possibly $300 a year--- not sure how it's cheaper to have a new car than a 5 year old one. Also my Spectra was going to need it's brakes done at some point. They gave me $1500 over the kelley Blue book value for my car, plus the Forester came with a few things I didn't expect ( and no the price didn't go up). Still getting used to it, I picked it up Wednesday night. It's different sitting up high, almost feel like I am in a cockpit. We'll see how it does in the snow this winter. taking it for a road trip this weekend to see my parents-- they don't know I got the car. They knew I was thinking about it, kinda nervous about what they will say. :)
