Renovations

Well last week I got my bathroom renovated. :) For some unknown reason one of the previous owners of my house decided to paint the tub. I thought it looked dingy one day and scrubbed it which made the paint start to flake off. There were also some problems with grout between the tile and tub, etc. Since my toilet would sometimes run on it's own, I decided to replace that as well. Sam came out Wednesday and when I got home already had the new toilet, tub, and shower walls up. The next day he came back to put up a row of bullnose tile and replace the baseboards and other little stuff like that. Shadow really didn't like having an interloper in the house, especially when since I had to go to work and couldn't sit there. He decided to hide himself in the crawl space/storage are under the house, and wouldn't come out for me until quite a while later. I could understand his behavior Wednesday because I'm sure there was a lot of noise as he ripped out the tile and tub, but Shadow was actually worse Thursday night--- he hid again after I found him and brought him out. I decided to paint the bathroom Friday night because I had the paint, and I really wanted it all to be done, and I didn't want it to consume my weekend. Though I did do a second coat Saturday morning, plus I waxed the walls and fixtures that afternoon. Shadow didn't bother me, nor did he investigate what I was doing. So now my bathroom is all new. :) Shadow hasn't even stayed in there while I'm showering, which is quite a change, we'll see how long that lasts.
