Old Hauntings in
the Mesilla Mansion
atop the swamp,
behind the hill,
in the mesilla mansion
resides a rowdy gang
of bootleggers and smugglers
who keep the place full of wretched sin.
the distillery is open
with fine women to wine and dine.
the boys are gathered here,
so pour a pint of that tasty moonshine!
over by the billiards is the owner, johnny barleycorn
with his steady sweetheart, anne sexton, standing next to him
the three drunkards in the kitchen
are some of the fiercest of criminals, gutter punks, and hooligans
all infamous fer their disgusting demeanor,
headlines tell tales of their robberies,
sawed off shotguns, six shooters, shootin’ sheriffs, and shit.
with the crack of a bottle cap, the three take a drink.
the distillery is open
with fine women to wine and dine.
the boys are gathered here,
so pour a pint of that tasty moonshine!
two men in the living room are chatting it up
sippin’ on their glasses, getting nice and slobbery drunk.
the plans discussed are their methods of mischief and mayhem.
beside the couch, looking out of the window sits a lady,
marvelous at her worst, she makes everyone in the room
feel
real
good.
the most magnificent con artist
makes the mark enjoy being ripped off.
the distillery is open
with fine women to wine and dine.
the boys are gathered here,
so pour a pint of that tasty moonshine
!
stumblin’ down the stairs is good ol’ henry antrim,
seein’ pink elephants and blue mice,
singin’ drinking songs from times long past
the distillery is open
with fine women to wine and dine.
the boys are gathered here,
so pour a pint of that tasty moonshine!
