What the heck?

The other day my mom told me that my cousin, Michelle, was admitted to the hospital and that her cancer may have spread.Tonight she forwarded the email that my aunt sent out to only a few people and my cousin sent it to my mom. A few years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had radiation and eventually went into remission. Well for whatever reason, she was at the doctors Wednesday and they found that it was in her brain. They operated on her and removed the whole tumor, which was the size of a walnut. I can't even imagine what its like and what she's going through. When I read the e-mail I teared up a bit. I'm not really close to any of my cousins, aunts, uncles. But it's just sad what she's going through. And for this ugly thing to keep rearing its head.

Also, my mom sent me another e-mail about my great-Uncle John--her uncle. He passed away the other day. He was 91. He had a heart-attack a few weeks ago and was put into the hospital. My mom said that he was tired of being there and they discharged him and I guess a few days later is when he passed. He and his wife, Aunt Rose, are the only great-aunt and uncle I ever met. They were awesome. I don't really remember too much, but I do remember they came down during the winter and lived in Kissimmee and my mom, sister and I would go over and visit.

It's so sad that all this is happening at the same time. And all within the same family.
