Note: As you can probably tell by the header, my picspams/reviews of Inu o Kau to Iu Koto will all be in relation to Junno and his character Hotta Katsuhiko. 'Junno Vision', so to speak. ;P I may or may not comment on other aspects of the drama (Sky Tree, the Hongo family, etc), depending on how lazy I'm feeling, lol. I'm watching it RAW, and I apologize for anything I may not be understanding right. OTL ---> This is why you won't see any complete episode summaries from me. Also, the style of my picspams may change as the series progresses since I'm experimenting w/ it.

Junno plays the part of Hotta Katsuhiko, 29-year old medical doctor working in a public practice. He is a former classmate of Hongo Sachiko. He liked her during high school and even after graduation, but never confessed.

Hospital Roof ~ 08:51
Kubota tries to get Hotta's permission to let his wife leave the hospital for a few hours in order to see Sky and the Hongos. Hotta finds out that Hatsue has decided she wants to go to a hospice despite his desire for his patient to not give up. Kubota keeps asking for permission, but even though we don't actually see Hotta give it (he just continues looking troubled/helpless), Kubota takes his wife out anyway(?). LOL
Hospital Reception Desk/Lobby ~ 37:06
Katsuhiko happens upon Sachiko at the reception desk as she's trying to figure out how to get a room when all the regular rooms are filled. He points out the rooms that aren't full, which are of course the special rooms which are more expensive. Katsuhiko offers to pay the difference, to which Sachiko immediately objects. He just wants her to have peace of mind, but Sachiko says she's fine, it's not a sickness, it's a common thing (pregnancy). Then she goes on about it being the worst timing, and Katsuhiko thinks she's talking about him. xD Worried, he apologizes and she tells him he's got it wrong, that she's been fired from her part-time and her husband left his place of work. Hotta informs her about a possible full-time job, etc etc.
Hospital Lobby ~ 40:05
Yuji's now on the cleaning staff at the hospital, thanks in part to Hotta's introduction (Yuji wasn't aware of his help though, I don't think). At the end of the work day, Katsuhiko greets Yuji on his way out. He says he was glad he was able to help, and he couldn't ignore when his old classmate 'Sacchan' was in trouble. Yuji just nods along, though it's obvious what Katsuhiko says catches him a bit off guard. Katsuhiko cheers him on and says to do his best before he takes his leave. Yuji smiles politely (thought forced) and watches him go.
Hongo Home (Mention Only) ~ 43:41
Quick mention, as Sachiko mutters under her breath, "Who's an ikemen?!" Basically, Mako (the daughter) tells her mom about the stuff her classmate/classmate's mother has said about Sachiko and Katsuhiko. Of course, Sachiko is furious, and in her anger, mutters that. Poor Katsuhiko. xD;; Sachiko really is blind to him. She more than likely meant "Who has an ikemen boyfriend?!", but w/ the shortened way, it seems like she meant that Katsuhiko isn't an ikemen, so... I'm really spending too much time on this one thing. LOL Sorry~
Thoughts:
- Junno's screentime seems to be back to its usual level. I have hopes that next week's might be a little longer! :) -crosses fingers-
- Poor Hotta-sensei... ;_______; Trying so hard and yet conflicted because of the Kubotas' wishes. He can't force his patient(s) to pursue a course of treatment they don't want. I do have to repeat how much I love Hotta's troubled expressions though. xD;;
- Katsuhiko seems to have this urge to help whenever and however possible, something that makes him a good doctor and friend (and something I love about his character), and yet with Sachiko, he doesn't seem to see the line. He just wants to help/save her. I like that about him, but it also makes me sad for this obvious unrequited love of his. That's not to say he hasn't moved on, but we're not really sure of that yet...
- It's amazing the different feeling Hotta gives off when he's in his lab coat + glasses and when he's in his suit + no glasses. :3
- LOL, he called Sachiko 'Sacchan' in front of her husband. ダメでしょう... xD;;
- Still, Katsuhiko was all smiles and Yuji could only go along for the ride in that convo, lol.
- There are no words to express how annoying I find the busybody moms and their daughters.
- I can't believe Mako has to deal with mean girls from her class. >:| I wanted her to kick their asses! Hmph. That's why I was particularly happy at the end (even though Sachiko was like 'Who's an ikemen?') because I wanted Sachiko to give that mom and her kid a piece of her mind. +___+ I was sssooooo on board w/ Sachiko in that moment. She was going to kick their asses while pregnant, too. LMAO
- LMAO, I had to laugh at the ikemen veterinarian~ Since when news spread in (English) international fandom, everyone assumed since Junno was a doctor, that meant he had to be a vet for the dog. (Even though the kanji clearly stated a regular medical doctor, but whatever... >.>;;) Anyways, the ikemen vet was cute. ;P
- There are/may be some other places where Hotta is mentioned, but they're all usually brief. Like in the scene after the hospital roof one, Hatsue comments on how Hotta-sensei is just working very hard (in regards to her case even though she now no longer wants treatment). Besides, I'm sure everyone is much more interested in the scenes in which we see Katsuhiko, right~? ;)

Hotta gif here. More Dr. Hotta and Yuji interaction! Hotta's going to give his frank opinion and I don't think Yuji's going to like it. :O
