[Drama] Inu o Kau to Iu Koto ~ Episode 02 Picspam/Review

Note: As you can probably tell by the header, my picspams/reviews of Inu o Kau to Iu Koto will all be in relation to Junno and his character Hotta Katsuhiko. 'Junno Vision', so to speak. ;P I may or may not comment on other aspects of the drama (Sky Tree, the Hongo family, etc), depending on how lazy I'm feeling, lol. I'm watching it RAW, and I apologize for anything I may not be understanding right. OTL ---> This is why you won't see any complete episode summaries from me. Also, the style of my picspams may change as the series progresses since I'm experimenting w/ it.

Junno plays the part of Hotta Katsuhiko, 29-year old medical doctor working in a public practice. He is a former classmate of Hongo Sachiko. He liked her during high school and even after graduation, but never confessed.

Outside Store ~ 26:51
Katsuhiko saw Sachiko go into the store and waited for her to come out before approaching her to talk. :) He was in the area because he was looking for something*. He tells her he's going to quit working at the hospital, and he's going to open his own practice.
*After what he says, it's implied he's looking for a place to establish his practice.
Park ~ 27:12
LOL, what I thought was a riverbed from the preview was a park pathway. OTL -blind- Anyways, Katsuhiko and Sachiko have a talk in the park and reminisce about the past a little bit and how they are now. Katsuhiko says Sachiko gives off a housewife feeling, taking care of household matters during the day, going shopping, walking the dog, etc. Katsuhiko comments on how it's surprising, since when they were in high school, out of all the girls in their class, he thought she totally wasn't the type to become a housewife. Sachiko laughs, "Really?" Then Katsuhiko says how he thought she would never give up her dream of becoming a registered nurse. There's a pause as Sachiko takes that in, and Katsuhiko says he has to go back to the hospital. He says "Ja~" but Sachiko continues to talk. She says it's nostalgic, that antiseptic solution smell. That's why Katsuhiko starts smelling himself and his clothes. xDDD Sachiko comments on how he doesn't notice it, and that it used to be the same for her. She says that it would be good if he could open his own practice and to do his best. In reply, Katsuhiko says not to try too hard (as in, she shouldn't overwork herself). With that, he turns around and walks away. If you watch Katsuhiko, he smells his suit again. xDDD
Thoughts:
- Needs MOAR Junno. ;P ---> My default thought, lol.
- The part where Hotta stands up, but then stops and says "Eh?" didn't feel so natural to me... but otherwise, I enjoyed Junno's acting in this scene, especially when Hotta reminisces about their high school days.
- I *really* loved their talk this time. We get insight into Sachiko, and we get some more tidbits about Katsuhiko. I thought it was very interesting how Sachiko wanted to become a nurse. This is speculation at this point, but what if part of the reason Hotta wanted to become a doctor was because of her? :3
- And go, Katsuhiko! Opening his own practice at the age of 29~? Wowza.
- Drama is still slowly moving along. The Hongos figure out that owning a pet isn't exactly cheap. This is the first time any of them have owned a dog. They almost bring Sky back to the pound, but in the end, they keep him.
- Sachiko is obviously more than a little stressed out. ---> I'm referencing the freak-out she has when she and Yuji talk to Masaru (the son) about how he took money from the Hawaii fund to buy a playing card (looks Pokemon-esque).
- I'm happy that Yuji confessed about also taking money from the Hawaii fund (he initially told Mako not to tell her mother anything since she saw him) and how he apologized as well. Yay, Yuji~! ♥ Btw, I don't think I said it before, but his job really sucks. xD
- I predict that by the end of the drama, Sachiko will either move towards her old dream of becoming a nurse again and will be working at Hotta's practice. OR some time during the drama, she starts working at Hotta's practice - maybe not as a nurse, but as a receptionist or something. :3
- Sky Tree is growing on me, LOL.
Episode 03 Preview ~
Hotta gif here. Sachiko has to go to the hospital and Hotta is her caretaker. There's a voice-over where he says "You have to take better care of yourself." Also, it looks like Episode 03 will be the first episode where Ryo's and Junno's characters meet and interact. :3 I wonder who's going to save Mako (-hopes it's Hotta- OTL).
Umm, I know I'm going back and forth between 'Katsuhiko' (his first name) and 'Hotta'. I actually really like the Katsuhiko name, but it's more whatever I feel like using. xD
