Happy Father's Day! ^^black_rose45000June 20 2010, 12:50:11 UTC
we don't have this holiday here =.= not Mother's day either =.= aaanyway. i really liked reading your report. truth be told, since i'm not a fan of Jin, i wasn't that interested in hearing about his con, and the parts where the mc's were talking and the whole "lovejuice, jin akanishi shot" seemed so meaningless and boring to me, i dunno how it was for you tho >.> and yeah, the ending was disappointing, somehow, but that's Jin anyway, so...
but i'm glad i got to read your flail-free, unbiased report :) i can't say anything about the songs, since i haven't listened to them, and don't plan to, but i understand what you mean about listening to this type of music in doses, not all at once. i'm glad to hear "Hey girl" turned out to be a nice song. i'm not a fan of Ryo or Pi, but i always liked how these 3 were good buddies, so i'm glad that Ryo and Jin both composed a song. :) there were some interesting points you mentioned, like the dances or that "blank canvas" thing. i have to admit, i didn't expect the dancers and choreography be any good, but it seems that i was wrong. those parts of the show would've been the only enjoyable ones for me :)
well, all in all, i'm really glad you had fun :) enjoy the second con today too!
and thank you for sharing the report. it was a good read :)

Oh, really? Interesting. This also suddenly has me wondering how Father's Day started as a holiday here. XD;;
Thanks, bb. I'm glad you liked reading it, especially since I know you're not a Jin fan. I found the brief talk parts funny, just hearing Jin speak English (the little he did speak). Plus how the MCs and dancers interacted with him, etc.
I was disappointed, but a part of me wasn't surprised by it either? I dunno.
Thank you! And regarding Jin's music, I'm happy that I made sense to you. LOL. Sometimes it makes sense in my head, but then once I write it down... haha.
I find the friendship of those three to be really nice, even though I don't follow them. :) Before, I didn't know that Ryo and Jin were good friends, so I was really tickled by the fact that they composed a song together. And somehow, the fact that Ryo plays a part in what is one of Jin's more fun and upbeat songs makes sense.
I think the dancing was actually one of the stronger aspects of the show. I'm wondering if all the concepts were Jin's.
Thanks for commenting, dear~~~ I know you didn't have to, so thanks for that. ♥
