The weekend is over :(
Another weekend has flown by! And it's FREEZING outside. I'd almost rather be in Canada again dealing with sub-zero temperatures. At least I'd be able to play in the snow!
Now on to business: This week is going to be just a little bit stressful...just a little. OK a lot stressful. :( I have a debate tomorrow night, a book to finish reading for an in-class writing assignment on Thursday, and a huge project to do by late next week (first I have to visit the Tampa Museum of Art). As for grades...not too bad! I got an 88% on my Midterm and a 90% on my first big paper in one of my Education classes and perfect scores on my other assignments...so far I'm doing well and if I just maintain my focus, I'm bound to come out of this semester with a fairly decent GPA!
Matt and I are planning a weekend (or 3-4 days) vacation to a beach on the East Coast. I was really hoping to end up at Daytona but we weren't able to find any reasonably priced hotel available for the weekend we desire. So I booked a hotel in Cocoa Beach but I'm still looking for better deals at other beaches...I've heard great things about New Smyrna but when I called some of the affordable and nice hotels, I was told that we have chosen the same weekend as bike week so most places are booked already. :(
