Also, if you're driving in the Appalachians in North Carolina or Virginia, you HAVE to take the
Blue Ridge Parkway

In Houston tomorrow, we are going to the Space thing, but what else should I do?

I'm super busy tomorrow and won't be able to meet up with you (ugh, exam week), but as for places to visit:
-
Houston Museum of Natural Science
- the basic, long-standing exhibits are really great.
-
Museum of Fine Art Houston
- in the same area/walking distance as the Natural Science museum. Gorgeous collection.
-There's also the
Houston Zoo
and
Hermann Park
, but having fun really hinges on how good or bad the weather is.
Space Center Houston/NASA is really the big thing to do here, so it's good that they're hitting on that. Also, if you want a good TexMex place to eat,
Mama Ninfa's
on Navigation is the best in town.
