Still at Dad's [Week 2!]So Monday again and it's time for another BBQ! This time at my step-sister's house! We didn't leave until after lunch but that gave me a little bit of time to recuperate. Once we got there though, it became play time for a long time. After dinner we put the girls in their yukatas!
Next day was supposed to be a lazy day, of course it didn't turn out like that! We went to the Westfield at Stratford for a little bit of shopping and lunch. I stuck to the cheapy shops by still spent a good hour or so shopping. That's a lot my my standards. After that a last minute dinner meet up was arranged with a friend. We stopped in at a spiffy bra shop to see if I could get measured, got an appointment for the next day. Next day I had my measuring and fitting. 30DD. Not entirely unexpected since I had measured myself to get an estimate, but good to know. What it does mean is that I can no longer buy the style I like in normal shops. Half cup styles in normal stores start from a 32 and go up. But, I liked the designs the store I was in had, so I bought some! And then ordered more off the internet. And apparently they can deliver to Japan for twice their usual shipping fee which isn't too bad! After that I went out for lunch with Dad and somehow we ended up sitting in a cafe at a table next to a Japanese family, who I ended up talking to for a bit and getting their e-mail. After that we headed to the Imperial War Museum to look at some history.
I like planes~ Once again, we had the girls for the evening so we took them swimming. The 2 year old had no idea, but the 4 year old loved it. Next morning was chaos again because of the girls. Let's just say they put felt tip pen on the white sofa. I got the train down to my old area because it was the day I had an appointment to tour my old secondary school!
Look at it~ It's like a castle! I took a whole load of photos for my students, so they can see what an English school looks like, albeit a Grammar school. I walked up to my friends house after to have tea with her mum (she was at work) and then to another friends house. Then we got the bus to Bluewater, had some burritos and sent me on my way back to London. The next day I met my friends for lunch and after that me and Henry started the journey to the Harry Potter Studio Tour!
Needless to say it was glorious and I killed my camera by taking so many photos. I don't want to spoil the inside for anyone so if you DO want to see the photos, click below!
The final full day with my Dad had a 9am lie in (which was well needed), another run, and then heading off for a huge family BBQ complete with unknown relatives and bad dancing!
To be continued in part 3, which starts the next day when I head to my Mum's house!
