Japan and Germany

I'm much happier today after checking my e-mails. The company in Japan have put my Certificate of Eligibility in the post which means I will be getting it sometime in the next week. I'm starting to feel like Japan is actually happening now. I won't feel certain until the visa is actually in my passport but I'm getting there!
If the CoE turns up quickly then I'll feel a bit better about going to Germany with my Dad for a few days before leaving for Japan. I'm actually really looking forward to this little ski trip. I haven't been on holiday with my Dad for years, and I haven't been skiing for years either. We're going to be driving so I've offered to drive the bit where we're still in the UK, I'm not allowed to drive on the continent - I'm not old enough, so that Dad won't be exhausted when we arrive at the hotel. I can't remember exactly where it is we're going but according to Dad the resort often hosts the skiing world championships. So there should be good snow.
So for a few days I will get to ski. And skiing with Dad is like a mad dash to the bottom of the slope. There's no slow skiing with Dad, he'll always try to have done as much of the piste map as possible when he skis. It's fun. I'll be taking my laptop though, as we'll use Skype to call my Mum and Dad's girlfriend. After Dad's experience making phonecalls from Australia I don't he ever wants to use his mobile phone for over-seas calls again! But yeah, really looking forward to Germany, skiing and spending some time with my Dad.
It does mean that March is going to be stupidly busy though. I'll be spending a long weekend with my friends in Dartford, spending some time in London to see friends who are based there and the Germany, and then getting on a plane to go to Japan! It will be manic! But I'd rather it be manic and going somewhere that where I am now still. I find it amazing that I can't get any kind of job. I know I've not been going for the graduate jobs because of Japan but still.
Anyway, hopefully in a few weeks I will know where I'm going to be living for the next year.

I need to make it so that I can type in Japanese on my laptop as well. One more thing to add to the list of things to do~
