More than a slave part 25
Ohno looked up from his conversation with Jun as the doors to the bedroom opened and his human lover came through. He personally always thought that Nino was beautiful but the way that he was dressed now only highlighted his beauty and he half wished that he could jealousy keep him away from any other eyes that might notice. The date was Nino’s wish though and he was going to do it properly and make it the best first date that a person could have knowing that it was going to be the first of many that they would share.
“You look beautiful, my Nino…” He breathed moving across the room until he was standing in front of him, the thumb of his hand ghosted gently over his knuckles before he brought the thin, slightly scarred, hand up to his mouth and pressed a light kiss to the knuckles. “I’m honoured to be the one taking you on a date…”
“…Oh-chan…” Nino managed to whisper in response, his cheeks burning brightly, as he looked at him through the veil of his eyelashes and Ohno couldn’t resist kissing his knuckles again before letting go of the hand so it hung lightly at his side before turning to Jun and Masaki giving them a smile his hand resting lightly on the small of Nino’s back caressing him gently when he felt a small shiver running through his body.
“We’ll walk you out…” Jun smiled cutting through the slight tension and Ohno nodded keeping his lover close as they headed to the door as a group.
The elevator ride down to the first floor was silent but not uncomfortably so and Ohno had to admit that he couldn’t stop himself from looking at his lover, completely startled at how a simple change in outfits could accent his lover’s almost other worldly beauty and make him seem as though he had just stepped off of a catwalk. His lips seemed to be fuller and pinker and Ohno suspected that Masaki had given him some of the cherry flavoured lip balm that he was so fond of and he longed to be able to kiss him and see for himself.
A taxi was waiting for them when they arrived down and Ohno held the door with one hand and placed the other over the top, in a way that Jun had taught him, so Nino couldn’t catch his head and he was embarrassed at the smile his actions brought forth from both Masaki and Jun. He ignored his two friends though and slipped into the car behind his lover determined that he was going to be the best date that he could.
Their first destination was dinner on a pier overlooking the dark blue ocean. Nino had looked a little nervous at first but had soon settled down when Ohno had offered him the seat with his back to the window. It offered him a fantastic view of his lover though with the background of the ocean and an almost halo of stars around his head. Being a born elite vampire had caused him to almost hate the nearly never changing night sky, but with Nino he found that he loved it and found beauty in it. Nino barely looked at the menu on the table and in the end Ohno chose their white wine and an avocado crab salad with Japanese dressing for the starters. He couldn’t really enjoy the food but if it was for Nino he would muddle through for tonight at least. Anything to make this night special.
