Secrets part 26

Nino sat on the very end of the bow of the boat trying hard to focus on everything and anything that wasn’t the movement of the water. He had taken his anti-seasickness medicine but it didn’t seem to be working for him. He had thrown up twice in the night and once already this morning and was currently wearing one of Ohno’s t-shirts that was strangely too big for him though he was sure that they were the same height. The boat was as old as he had been expecting from Ohno’s descriptions of it but, even with the seasickness, it was strangely beautiful and relaxing to be able to sit and stare at nothing but water for miles around. His heart clenched at the thought of Ohno sat out here all alone when he couldn’t sleep the thoughts of what had happened swirling around in his head. When he thought about it he was pretty look that Ohno had thought about killing himself on the pier where they could meet and not out here where nobody would have been able to help him.
“Nino-chan…Are you feeling better now?” Ohno asked in that beautifully concerned voice and Nino smiled his eyes closing tightly as he allowed the feeling to wash of him. It was an odd feeling, not one that he had ever felt before to anybody but Ohno wasn’t just anybody to him. The man had wormed his way into his heart from day one and he continued to be the person that he thought about most when they weren’t together. He had only realised that though when he had been thinking about leaving and where he could go. There was no hesitation that he would go with Ohno and the safety of his boat.
“I’m fine…Cause you’re here, Oh-chan…” He said reaching out and grabbing the man’s hand tugging him close to his body his lip finding the nape of the man’s neck. “Sorry I’m no good at this…But I promise that I’ll get better…”
“I don’t mind! You can just sit there...I don’t want you getting really sick…” Ohno said quickly all of the words predictable out of the man’s mouth but it was something that caused Nino’s heart to swell. He knew that all of his special clients treated him well, that they liked him more than they would any other whore but he knew that Ohno was probably the one that loved him the most. He was defiantly the one that needed him the most.
“Oh-chan…Answer me honestly…Do you love me? More than me just being a whore?” He asked his nose and mouth still buried against Ohno’s chest almost too nervous to look at him even though he was sure that his answer would be yes.
“…I…I’m sorry…” Ohno whispered and Nino thought for a moment that he was wrong and his heart dropped down to his stomach his knees going weak until Ohno continued with a soft “I do…I know that you don’t want that…But…I do…I love you Nino…I’ve loved you since the first day I met you…I promise though that it won’t change anything…I know that you probably don’t love me…”
“Silly, silly Oh-chan…Why would I have asked to stay here if I didn’t?” Nino chuckled knowing that he was half lying but only because he hadn’t realised why he wanted to be with Ohno when he thought that his life was in danger. “I think it’s clear that I’m not built for a life on the ocean…”
“…You…Mean…You…Love…Me?” Ohno asked each of his words separated by an unnervingly long pause and Nino gave a laugh turning himself fully so he could drape his arms around the man’s neck and kiss him a few times.
“Yes…I really think I do…I want to help you sleep every night…And make sure you never think about leaving me again…”
“I won’t…I will never leave you…”
“Good…”
