Omega part 19
“Bugger…” Satoshi hissed a little as the claws missed the toy that he had been trying to get and grabbed only air. Nino smiled as he watched his husband. His own prizes were in his hands having won on two machines already and he had to admit that he was having a better time with Satoshi than he could ever have imagined. His husband looked completely out of place in the arcade. He had removed his jacket but the expensive suit and tie he was wearing set him apart from the other people there as did the fact that he was much older than the over occupants. Satoshi turned and looked at him with his head cocked slightly to one side as he asked “What am I doing wrong?”
“I…I don’t…Know…I mean…I haven’t played that machine…But…I think…I think that it pulls slightly to one side…” Nino breathed swallowing down a sickly wave of nerves as he answered his husband’s question Satoshi gave a hum and then stepped backwards a little motioning for him to come and stand in front of him.
“Show me…” He hummed and, feeling even more nervous than he already was, Nino moved to stand in front of the older man. He placed his toys down onto the small shelf and then placed his hand onto the machine. To his surprise, Satoshi’s hands came down to over his as he pressed his cheek against him “If I have my hands here over yours I can feel what you do and maybe I can try and do what you do…” He breathed and Nino was sure that his head swam from the scent that was washing around him. It was so thick that he could barely catch a breath and he desperately tried to breathe through his mouth instead of his nose but it was barely any better. Satoshi’s spicy tangy scent was so strong he was sure that he could almost taste it. He swallowed again and then tried desperately to focus on the grabbing machine.
As he had suspected the control seemed to be sticky and set to one side meaning that he had to carefully make sure that he was always to the right of the object that they were after. It took him a few tries to get it even close and the feel of Satoshi’s hands on his and his chest against his back wasn’t helping but eventually they managed to get the toy exactly under the teeth of the grabber. The claws moved down and Nino was sure that Satoshi pressed even closer into his back in anticipation. Nino stopped breathing all together his heart in his mouth as he saw the little claws close around the toy and bring it up. It swayed dangerously for a moment or two but still it came to the box. The pressure pad sounded with the weight of the toy and before he realised what was happening he was being spun around with Satoshi hugging him tightly.
“Congratulations! You did it!” His husband said and Nino smiled shyly genuinely not expecting the light kiss that was placed on his lips. It was so brief that it could have been an accident but Satoshi froze stiffening as he realised what he had done. He moved away quickly but not too far and Nino blinked considering the older man’s face as his mouth opened and closed like a demanding goldfish before Satoshi cleared his throat and ran his fingers through his hair. “Sorry about that…Come on…Take the prize and then we should move onto something else…”
“Right…Um…Okay…Sure…”
