The Alpha and the Omega part 208
Ohno allowed Nino to drift off in his arms his own eyes closing as he allowed himself to relax for the first time in a few days. He hadn’t realised how tired he was until he was pressed up against his little lover with Nino carefully positioned around him. Nino scent was off which probably had a lot to do with the medicines that were being pumped into his body trying to heal the damage that had been done to him. It was scary how long it was taking for Nino to heal and he was exceptionally grateful that his dad had fallen under Nino’s spell. He wasn’t completely sure how Amber had gotten around it but she was going to be going to prison for a very long time. Her lawyer had gone to his to ask him asking for a plea bargain but he refused. She had tried to kill both his mate and his child she deserved to rot in prison…She should be happy that it wasn’t the old days were an attack on the mate of an alpha meant the alphas pack tearing them apart.
He just wished that his mother would try something stupid so that she herself would be able to join her in prison. Of course she would be stuck somewhere with only humans so she wouldn’t be able to use her alpha abilities on them and it would be almost satisfying to see his powerful mother stripped of everything. His mother was too clever and cunning for that though and Ohno knew that she would be looking through legal channels again and there was always a chance that she could ask for another challenge but Ohno knew that he would have no problem with taking her down. He might not have it in him to kill her but he would happily make it so that she suffered even half as much as Nino had. A second challenge seemed unlikely though as his mother no longer had the support of a pack and was a lone wolf. She was still an alpha and as such a threat but she didn’t have the power that she once had.
Yumehiko gurgled and then hiccupped before letting out the snuffling sound that he had gotten used to now. He gave a smile and looked over at the plastic cot surprised to see him shivering a little. Worried he shot up from the bed waking Nino in the process. He pressed that button which would alert Mao or Erika that they needed help and Nino gave a whimper hissing;
“What’s wrong with him? Yumehiko…”
“I don’t know…” Satoshi answered as the shivering got worse and then he saw a familiar rippling under his skin and he realised what was happening. The door to the room was forced open with a loud bang and both women came running in just as Yumehiko did a full body sneeze and then in place of their human son was the cutest grey wolf cup cub that he had ever seen. He was still tiny but for some reason he seemed less vulnerable in this form and he little out a sad little yip looking confused before he changed back again.
“...What…He…Changed…” Nino breathed scrambling further along in the bed before letting out a laugh when the hungry snuffles started again and his tiny arms and legs began moving.
“Well…At least we know that he hasn’t been affected by what happened to Nino…” Mao said with a relived sounding laugh checking over the monitors for a minute or two before saying “A perfectly smooth transformation...Actually I think he’s strong enough to come out of his little prison now…So Daddy, do you want to hold your baby?”
