The Alpha and the Omega part 189
Teeth and claws clattered together as the werewolves fought. The rain was hammering down now and Nino wondered if his pheromone…If he ever had such a thing was being dampened by the rain and the scent of the trees and mud which was a whole lot stronger now. Yusuke’s face slammed into his chest hard forcing him to skid on the mud. His wolf was so much smaller than those around him looking almost like a terrier dog compared to the giants that he was fighting but he refused to give in. If his practice fights with Jun and Satoshi had told him anything it was that he was faster and had tons more stamina than they did with their heavy bodies. Shaking off the pain that he could feel he decided to run. He was slower now with the pronounced baby stomach but he could still move and that was what he did. The clearing was large and he was able to turn on his feet meaning that the heavy set alpha couldn’t keep up with him. Logically the alpha should have stopped chasing him but Nino had learnt something else while practicing his fights. The Alphas seemed to lose themselves in the chase a lot more quickly and that meant that logic was rare.
Yusuke continued to chase him around and around his body becoming more determined when he couldn’t catch him and Nino used that before turning sharply and diving under the alpha’s legs. His fox like body managing to squeeze through with few problems. The alpha on the other hand tripped over his own feet and then landed face first into the dirt. Nino allowed his tail to flick once at the pleased growl he heard from his lover and then ran to the far side of the clearing to wear Masaki was sitting with Sho at his side.
“His slowing down…” Sho whispered “But be careful…I think he’s planning something…”
Nino huffed at his pack member and then turned to watch Yusuke lifting hismself up and shaking himself. Mud flicked everywhere and Nino was tempted to laugh at the vicious sounding noises that Yusuke’s mate let out when she was showered in blood. Instead he pressed his front down to the floor and wagged his tail like a dog playing. Determined to wind up the alpha as much as he could he felt Ohno trying to contact him through the bond. They had promised each other that they wouldn’t use the bond as it might cause distraction so he knew that it must be important for Ohno to do it now.
“My father is going easy on you…It’s causing my mother to grow angry and impatient…Carry on as you are but be careful and stay away from where she is…”
“Isn’t that against the rules?” Nino asked keeping his eyes on Yusuke for a moment before turning his attention to the very agitated bitch that was snapping and snarling at her mate almost trespassing into the ring.
“Of course it is…But at this point my mother is too frustrated to care...She might thiknk its worth it just to attack you in her anger…” Ohno snarled and Nino nodded stopping the connection as Yususke lunged at him his white teeth flashing through the ran. Nino jumped to one side barely making it and he felt the snapping of teeth against his toes. He whimpered and the Alpha let go immediately his head twisting to one side to display his neck while his face pointed to the floor. A bark sounded from the bitch at the edge of the circle and Nino smirked holding his leg up and limping as he walked away guessing that his pheromone had finally triggered in the other Alpha.
