So, I really ought to go to bed, as I'm getting up at six to vote tomorrow. But hell.
This is weird. I'm GOING. To VOTE. I got my drivers' licence on Friday, and now I'm... Oh, what the hell. I don't care. GROWING UP HAS TO HAPPEN SOMETIME.
Anyway. My weekend was fucking INCREDIBLE. =DDDDD Which made coming back to school really, really hard. ;~; Went trick-or-treating as Masaki SANTINE ROXAS The Cat You Should Never Have Brought Home, with Franco as Matrix!Jesus and Ashley as A Girl In A Leather Jacket and Mizu as An Mad Scientist. We hit the houses late, so the kids had already gone through, and we got the leftover candy. All of it. =DDD We then tried to go to Netherworld, which is an awesome haunted house downtown, but we couldn't find it for over half an hour and then it was pretty much too late, what with crowded lines.
Saturday I went to Zen Tea and actually found some stuff I liked~ and then went to Nicole's birthday party and bellydanced the night away - until I was whisked away to try the haunted-house thing again. It worked that time, and was AWESOME. I WANNA SEE SOME OF THAT STUFF IN PROPER LIGHT!!! The animatronics and costumes and sets were AMAZING. I only screamed twice. XD;;; Once in funhouse mirrors when a chick popped out at me, and...I forget when the other time was. But Franco and Ashley and I sang Dr. Horrible and Avenue Q all the way through to keep ourselves from being scared out of our minds. There was also a really hot guy in the mad scientist section. =////D He so heard me and Franco discussing how cute he was. XD;
Then Sunday I went to church, made up with my family, and WENT TO THE FIRST UNDER-21 LOST BOYS SHOW IN FREAKING MONTHS. <333333 I was SO glad to see them again!! And they were glad to see me, too, I think. <3 Seeing Squirrel and Amanda was awesome, too. Getting there was an adventure and a half - we decided we would go about 45 minutes before they were due to go onstage. XD;;; That was my weekend. It owned. My only regret is not being able to be in two places at once on Saturday night.
Got screwed over by Daylight Savings Time - was in psych classroom an hour early. This is the third time this year I've shown up to class an hour early. ;~; Well, better early than late.
Also, psych lecture was on drugs and their effects. ...how sad is it that I paid the closest attention I've given to the lecture since we covered Freud? And not because I'm interested for myself, but because I want my writing and RP to be accurate. TT_TT
I really should bring the Aeneid to read in line to vote tomorrow. But I have a feeling Holmes will be accompanying me instead.
