Cool shoot!
So about a week ago I got called by someone from The Discovery Channel and they wanted me to play Sally Nast, wife of the famous artist Thomas Nast in this film "Christmas and the Civil War" that they were shooting... I submitted to them about a year ago for another project and I didn't get called for that, but they said they held auditions for Sally Nast and even though tons of girls showed up they just didn't have what they were looking for and the dude that called me remembered my headshot and tracked me down! So I got it without auditioning.. again! I was so stoked about it.. sooo I went up to PA day before yesterday and they put us up in a hotel..for free! Which is always cool. call time was at 6am the next day and I went and got my hair and makeup done and got my corset on.. my lord what an experience! gack. I really don't know how girls did it back then. Come to find out my husband for the day is a friend of mine off of myspace! haha. It was awesome. We also had 3 kids ages 10, 6 and 3...and.. wow.. they were evil! Seriously. They had us go in a room with them and play games so we could bond as a family.. and so I asked the kids what they usually played and shit and they said they wanted to play a game called Would you rather.. so Jared and I were like.. ok! And 10 year old girl started and she was like "Ok.. would you rather kill your mom and beat your grandmother with her body, or kill your grandmother and beat your mom with her body?" we were like...... @_@ And seriously, the game just kept going like that.. it was all about death, pain, loss of limbs.. they were sick! And we were all alone with them in a little tiny room. The little boy said something about eating 100 live skunks.. it was weird shit, man. sooooo the shoot was awesome, got a tank top that says "cast and crew" on the front and on the back it says "Christmas and the Civil War" It's sooooooo awesome!!!
