aussie rules football (footy)
woo! so yesterday we all headed down to the stadium for aussie rules football. it's a round field...bizarro! and totally different rules all together. we had some REALLY annoying fans behind us that drive 3h for every game. common phrases were:
red & white ball
BUGGER!
go sydney!
go swaneees!
CENTRALIZE IT!
(the sydney SWANS played the adelaide crows. hehe)
it was a really interesting thing to watch and truly aussie, which was nice. i don't think i'll need to go back though.
today is a paper writing day...and that needs to be done right now. after i update my fotolog.
thanks to those of you that have phoned emailed/msn'd/written letters....it feels nice to talk to ppl from home, i'm getting a bit (really) homesick.
