Ok well not sure what is going to happen here but it all seems good. I've met a lovely gal called Xan and we hit it off quite well. We both are into RPG, computery stuff and she can beat me at bloody roar on the XBoX which is cool and on her first go on Mario kart she managed to keep up with me .. (and green shell me .. grrr) heh
Any ways that being said fingers crossed for the future.
On other notes I've been watching a lot of new TV shows from America and from our lovely own UK (would say England but Torchwood is set in Wales).
Our British shows:
Afterlife .. a very good and sometimes chilling series about a medium (that's psychic medium and not size :p). Sounds like a familiar story. I've sat there being scared and slightly freaked out only to find some of the plot twists where red herrings from the real twist. All in all I have liked this show a lot.
Of course, next on my List is: Torchwood.
This nicely paced comedic adult orientated drama is great. Not a completely far cry from Dr Who.. with humour elemental traces common to both it takes on its own life and style. Plus the fact that we fans have probably been waiting for it for a while, it doesn't let us down.
Next on my List is Robin Hood.
Very Tongue in cheek. With modern vocabulary and speech patterns that have put many a viewer off of the show, I find it in similar vein (albeit with a tad more seriousness) to a show I watched as a kid called "Maid Marian and her Merry Men". and as which kept me entertained at that age.. and so does this show..
Right now onto my American Viewing.
1) Heroes
Along the character development lines of Lost, Heroes is based upon the empowered people learning of their abilities and coping with living in our society where freaks of nature are ridiculed and attacked. The many characters come from many different backgrounds and though their experiences are vastly contrasting, it can be seen that they will probably end up working towards the same goal. Saving the world!.
there are plenty of others.. but meh ran out of steam..
And yes I know there are plenty of grammar errors
lol
