I realised that the problem is also due to us being so darned selfish.
Philippians 2:3
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition of vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Before saying "we need to work together", I believe the thing I should have said instead is this:
Let's serve one another. Demonstrate true service, uncomplaining and loving.
