Nadiah mercifully granted me the letter M. Oh well, here goes!
10 things I love starting with the Letter M
1. Me. Well, you gotta love yourself! It does good for your self-esteem, as well as makes it easier for everyone else to love you. You can't imagine how hard it is to love someone who doesn't love himself/herself..
2. My mother. The bleeding obvious. :D
3. The Messiah, otherwise known as God.
4. Miracles. No need for an explanation, who doesn't love miracles?
5. Music, one of the art forms which impress me the most. And I love how it can stir different types of emotions in me.
6. Musicals. I love watching them and the people in them, if they have a good plot and talented actors/singers/dancers. I especially like noticing how much talent those people have, it can be quite amazing. Do you know cool it is to be able to act, sing and dance all at once? :D
7. Murder mystery novels, I like the suspense. (And I'm not like Christopher okay! Rawr.)
8. Muffins! Especially blueberry/chocolate chip muffins. Mmmm, yum.
9. Magnum, the ice cream brand(: HAHA. Chocolate and vanilla is absolute love!
10. Massages from my mom, especially when my whole body is aching. (:

1. You cannot put generalities in front to place in the things you love that start without that specific letter. Like if I gave you 'T' you cannot write, The Da Vinci Code or The Lord of The Rings because it those don't actually include T.
2. You must give reasons for why you love that specific items. You can't write 'because I can't think of anything else'.

Church was fun today! And I felt quite serene, it was so cool. Oh, Annabelle and Stacy didn't come, both of them were sick. ): GET WELL SOON, YOU TWO! -hugs- Tricia was late, and Evelyn came in with her, Tricia said she found her somewhere downstairs.. whoops. I didn't see Evelyn! So sorry eh, girl. Anyway, worship was really calming. And Shadrach emceed today! He was super funny lah.. he was saying, "Is it too much to ask for you all to stand up and greet one another?" And when nobody stood up, he went "Ah yes, so it is too much.." HAHA he's hilarious. And there's another one, he was making an announcement about the bowling gala.. "So, you can obtain a form from the twins Kathi and Kristi at the infomation booth outside. You know, the twins? The twins who look quite alike.." -_- LOL.
Ah wells. WIA (Word in Action) and lesson was fun. For WIA, we learnt about pride and how it hinders us from spiritual maturity, etc. For lesson, we continued on Ephesians 2. Notes are below. Okay, guitar lesson later, so for now I shall just relax and slack. Or occasionally, practise guitar. :D
WIA: Maturing in Christ
Proberbs 6:16-19 - "There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers."
1st - Pride
- causes spiritual downfall
- Satan fell like lightning from heaven
- book of Daniel
- he had so many blessings, but he did not give glory to God
Proud -> one who considers himself above others, thinks highly of himself.
False humility.
Root of pride; rebellion => evil.
Satan rebelled against the Lord, and it caused his downfall.
Pride fits into every form. What does pride fit into, in our lives?
Pride must die in our lives, if not, nothing of heaven will enter.
CURE TO PRIDE = be humble, admit to our wrong, conform to Jesus, fixing our eyes on Jesus.
Self-realisation of sin and wrongdoing.
Lesson on Ephesians 2
Eph 2:1 - "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,"
Sin - missing the mark
Transgression - breaking the law
Eg. boundary: marriage
transgression: pre-marital sex.
Temptations around us:
- pornography
- TV
- movies
- internet chatrooms
Eph 2:2-3 - "in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts.."
How were we dead in our transgressions and sins?
- Following the ways of the world
- Satan (ruler of the kingdom of the air)
- Human cravings.
But, we were SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH.
