"You're a candle in the window on a cold, dark winter's night..."
Here comes some randomness:
1. I haven't mentioned it yet, but Ingrid Michaelson's new album kills me dead. I bought tickets for me and my lovely sister to see her when she's in Portland on October 11th, and I cannot wait. It'll be my... fourth time seeing her in concert. I LOVE THIS WOMAN. ♥
2. Glee. Watch it. Best show ever. The last three minutes of the pilot is one of the most lovely, uplifting, and beautiful things I've ever seen. I can hardly contain my excitement. I've been freaking out over every new song release. ('Gold Digger'. It kills me. And 'Can't Fight This Feeling' is all I've been singing for the past two days. This show is a drug.) I watched the director's cut pilot, and the 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' scene killed me dead. GUH.
3. The high school started up classes today. Still feels a little weird not going back there. Ever. Probably won't sink in 'til I'm in college. Which is right around the corner... I move in on the 19th. My schedule is finally all sorted out. My roommate seems nice enough. All I need is a job and I'm set!
4. I spent the last night or so watching S Club 7. If any of you guys grew up on that, please let me know. Because this show is so incredibly awful, and yet I continue to watch. I adored it when I was younger. I clearly had no taste. (I'm also watching Degrassi reruns. Save me.)
5. I shopped my butt off this week. I finally own tights that fit me, and a cute bra. (I hate, hate, hate being a little too big for regular stores, but too small for plus sizes. What is this, body?) I love clothes. AND SHOES. I have lots of new shoes. ♥
6. About to start Ed. I basically want to have Tom Cavanagh's babies, so I cannot wait to watch this series all the way through. I'm off to do that now.
