1. Stuff I watched last night:
Big Bang Theory: 2x17 - The Terminator Decoupling
I really adore this show. So, so much.
The boys being geeky about Summer Glau had me dying with laughter. I think they waited far too long for that Firefly reference, but when it happened I was so happy it was there.
Raj is adorable. So is Howard. And Sheldon. And Leonard. And even Penny. :) I want this show to be on all the time.
How I Met Your Mother: 4x16 - Sorry, Bro
This episode was so unbelievably clever. The flashback technique kept Alyson & Cobie seated behind a table, while still playing with time in that adorable HIMYM, Carter & Craig way.
THE PANTS. I was laughing every time Barney cracked up about them. That's exactly the kind of thing I would find hysterical in my own life.
Also, Marshall continues to be the best character of all time:
"In sophomore year, Marshall grew a soul patch, wore a rasta hat, and asked everyone to call him MJ Smooth."
"I don't regret that for a second."
Castle: 1x01 - Flowers for Your Grave
Wasn't immensely impressed with this, but it is just a pilot. The partner-banter is so overdone at this point that it makes me want to cry, but I can see myself warming to the characters if they don't start the unresolved sexual tension right off the bat. The crime-drama is obviously also overdone, but this had enough of a twist that I didn't want to change the channel. Still a rehash of everything we've seen before, but not in a painful way.
I'll probably keep watching for Nathan Fillion, but I really hope it picks up.
I also watched House. Have no opinions on that whatsoever. :P
Things I didn't watch: Chuck & Heroes (which I'm so far behind on it isn't even funny.)
2. Neil Patrick Harris, could you be any more pretty? ♥
3. I'm still incredibly addicted to Food Network Challenge. I especially love when they do cakes. Or sugar showpieces. I'm thinking this makes me the biggest geek who ever lived.
