"But that's just a euphemism, if you want the truth he was out of control..."

1. Been using Pandora Radio because I'm not going to put my iTunes on this computer. It's nice. (Also, Jack Johnson. If you have any songs by him, I'm very interested.)

2. So tired. Went to bed a little past one last night (this morning?) and woke up at 5:30. Cannot function much longer on this amount of sleep.

3. Caught up on almost every show but Heroes. Very proud of myself.

4. Started reading my TV Guide magazine yesterday. Taking serious issue with Tim Daly right now.

Katherine Heigl isn't the only star bashing her show's writing. Private Practice's Tim Daly called Violet rejecting help from both her baby's possible fathers "bulls---." "It's sexist." Daly told TV Guide at the Haven Oscar gifting suite, where he shot a PSA for arts funding. "Women have been trying since the dawn of time to get fathers to take responsibility for their children. Here are two men who are perfectly willing to take responsibility and the woman is saying, 'Nah, never mind.'" Daly also wishes births were portrayed differently on the series. "For the sake of the psyche of American women, I'd like to see one woman on the show have a really easy, happy, joyous birthing experience." Ouch!

I don't take issue with the second quote so much. (But of course almost all the births are complicated. What drama and storyline is there in a perfect birth?) But the first? I'm still confused on how that is sexist at all. I'm not necessarily defending Violet's decision, but I do see where she's coming from. And to declare that every woman wants men to take all responsibility for their children is what's bullshit. Argh.

Rant over now. Whew.

5. outofdoritos, I taped the huge Leverage marathon that was on TNT yesterday because of your talk about the show. I'll watch it this weekend! :)

6. My Dead Like Me season one DVDs came yesterday. Yay!

7. Time for breakfast now. Have a lovely day.
