1) I'll get my shows out of the way first:
Bones: 4x08 - The Skull in the Sculpture
Cam was the shit tonight. She just continues to become more and more awesome by the week. (“Well, I programmed my phone to get the 5-day forecast.”)
SO MUCH SWEETS. I loved this. And I love John Francis Daley. ♥ I don't like Daisy much (read: at all), but Daisy/Sweets? I LOVE IT. I don't even know why. (Even if I did see that ending coming from a mile away.)
Booth/Brennan was adorable tonight. (Well, except for that last, super-forced bit.) ;) Actually, I think it was just because Booth was a decent human being in this episode. I haven't been fond of him for awhile, and it was nice to like him for a little while. (I can tell that I won't be happy with him next week. :P)
OH! The Angelator, guys. THE ANGELATOR. How long has it been?? Oh, season one, I feel like you're coming back. This makes me unbelievably happy.
Private Practice: 2x05 - Let It Go
COOPER/VIOLET. I feel like we're back to the way that I loved them. Their relationship isn't perfect, or even where it used to be, but they've made progress. They're starting to actually deal with their problems, which is comforting. (“Open it up. Make sure you have the all clear.” “Later. Right now my best friend needs me.”)
VIOLET. ILU SO MUCH. She's just such a wonderful character. Her storyline tonight was so heartbreaking. ♥
Naomi and Sam. I hated them and I loved them all at once tonight. (Keeping that office space? Come on, guys! D:) I'm glad they're moving on.
The patient, guys. I was almost in tears. GUH.
Pete is actually becoming a likable character. (“Go. Go to Ghana. But come back. I’m happier when you’re here.”)
Also, Cooper & Charlotte continue to be the most adorable couple ever. Them lying in bed in their practically matching black sweaters was one of my favorite scenes of the night. ♥
...two weeks? I hate it when they do this to me. D:
2) Thinking about the outcomes of all the LGBT-related measures makes me want to cry. (Although, in CA,
three lawsuits have already been filed in an attempt to overturn Prop 8. But... none of this is anywhere close to a sure thing, or even a possibility.)
Instead, I'm trying to focus on how amazing it is that Obama won the election and what a historic moment that was. (However, this also makes me cry. For different reasons, though!)
3) I love
Matt Nathanson. Just in case you didn't know this yet.
4) I should go do homework. I think I'm going to read TV Guide instead.
