James and I went to New York City.
Some cons about the place
- everyone takes it to the max in every sense of the word. Hipsters are huuuge hipsters, Wall st. suits are bigger, lamer suits than the ones on Bay st. The rich are $250'000 foot piano and $100 million dollare apartment rich, teenagers are more dramatic than reality tv shows about teenagers and tourists are obnoxiously touristy...like us ;)
- it's too big for a weekend.
Some pros
- the amount of art, culture, delicious food and soho were the biggest highlights.
- the public transit system is Unreal! It is so efficient, well planned, fast. F the TTC.
- Soho wins for best looking people, in fact best neighbourhood all around.
Being there for a weekend isn't enough, but just enough if you make the most of your time and James and I spanned that city straight for almost 15 hours of each day we were there.

This is Times Square beside (the grate on the ground beside me) Max Neuhaus's 'Times Square' installation. It's a rich texture of ambient bass and sound juxtaposed with the hustle and bustle of Times Square around it. It's a 24 hour public installation set in the pedestrian triangle in the middle of the Times Square.
