So, I'm at work. I've been making Euro Euro Notes rather than Dollah Dollah Billz. One of the kids is sleeping and the other is changing to go to some birthday party. They're pretty fantastic kids, aside from the fact that the 8 year old girl can cop a 'tude like no other. She's alright though, reminds me of me sometimes when I was her age. Sometimes, she plays like she doesn't like what I wear or how I have my hair, then she gets me to pick out her clothes and do her hair...kids with attitude...it's cute I guess. The 3 year old is cute. Reverse psychology works like a dream every time! It's not like he eventually gets it and says, "No, it won't work on me this time Fistle. I don't want to take a bath." (He can't say my name properly, so he calls me, "Fistle.")
The point of this entry is, I tried frogs legs for the first time! A friend of my friend Christina's came to visit from NYC so, her, our friend Jake and I went to Buddah Bar.
http://www.buddha-bar.com/ It's near Place de la Concorde, beside Hotel Crillon. It's way swish and really beautiful inside. There is this giant Buddha and they sell dvds and cds of the music that gets spun. Chill house is mostly what they play. The atmosphere is fantastic and they have locations everywhere in the world. Unfortunately, the food was great, but not fantastic and I would have rather paid the amount I did for a really nice French bistro rather than upscale Asian fusion. I had monkfish pad thai, Jake had ribs and Sharine had some chicken dish. She wanted a wine close to Chianti, so I picked out the Beaujolais. (I hope that doesn't disappoint you, Derek...I figured it was close enough.) As our appetizer, we shared the frog legs and calamari. I tried one the of legs, but it was too chickeny. Calamari was good though. Then for dessert, we shared a three sorbet palette. Strawberry, Peach and Green Tea, which had raspberry, pistachio and mango sauce on the opposite side of the palette. That was the best part. Jake looked so pimp rolling around Paris with two beautiful ladies ;)

To end the night, we bought some wine at the Monoprix on the Champs Elysées and drank it at Trocadero with some other friends that met up with us and watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle. How perfect does that sound for her last night in Paris?
