If you don't think about when you're going to die, no one will ever be prepared for your funeral.

It's rumoured that Chopin, though buried in Pere Lachaise, made sure that when he died, his heart would be sent to Poland to be buried there. I don't know how true that is, but there is something really sweet about that idea. I've wanted to be buried in Pere Lachaise for about three years now, but it's kind of tough when you aren't French. Also, it's really expensive. I've been playing with the idea of being cremated lately too. Mom wants to be cremated, and then quite romantically, and much like Scully's dad in the episode, "Beyond the Sea," she wants the ashes sprinkled into the sea to the tune of the Honeydrippers "Sea of Love." (Scully's dad's ashes get thrown in the sea to Bobby Darrin's "Beyond the Sea," hence the episode title. Well it also has to do with the subject matter of the episode, but never mind, I've nerded out hard enough.) Anyway, if I had myself cremated, I think I'd want the ashes taken to different places, some here, some in Toronto, some in Mississsauga...I haven't quite decided exactly where yet.

You know what would be really cool though, having my skull encrusted with something. Damien Hirst encrusted one with diamonds and it's supposed to be the most expensive piece of art, ever.

People donate their bodies to science every day. I think I might even donate mine to art.

nothing of use
