I made a friend for language exchange. I recommend to anyone that wants to get better at a language to check out Craigslist and find people looking for language exchange. That’s how I met this person. We met for a some food (La Bastide D'Opio in the 6th, Cuisine from the South of France
http://www.bistrot-opio.com/) and I spoke French while he spoke English. Some people like to make it more formal and they speak French for a half hour and then English for another half hour.
He drives a motorcycle so after food he took me to see the Eiffel Tower at night. It’s no Bat Bike but it’ll do! He’s also been on Craigslist for people who are looking for locals to be their guide to the city. I think I might do that when I get home. That would be a really cool way to meet new people and force myself to learn about Toronto history.

This is a photo of the Eiffel Tower at night. Every hour it glitters up and starts going crazy for about five minutes. Otherwise it’s just lit up.

I had an interview today in the 6th. I got to run into all these amazing places...because I have historical places like these to just 'walk by.' It's so crazy! Now total tourist spots, these three cafés served the likes of Sartre, Beauvoir, Camus, Hemingway and Picasso to name a few.
