(no subject)
One of my most favorite things to do is go to thrift stores looking for stuff. I actually have had a lot of really good luck, digging up fun stuff like Star Wars glasses, an Indiana Jones coffe mug, and lots of books on the cheap. The American Council for the Blind thirft store down the road from me had 9 diffrent Star Wars novels one time, all hard cover in great condition, picked em all up for 74 cents each. But to the point of all this, today i found an old X-men sheet set, with what appears to be Jim Lee era art (could be Jim himself, right style). Cut the flat sheet up and used it to re-upolster my computer chair, which shall henceforth be know as The Nerd Throne!
Going to catch an early matinee of Kill Bill vol 2 then do lunch , then a later afternoon mat. of the Punisher. After all that we are going to buy up some groceries and get stuff to redo the front yard. We actually don't have any grass in front of the house, it seems to be mostly clovers and dandelions. We are going to trim it all really short, break the ground up and the cover with some nice grass seed, topsoil and peat moss. hopefull by summer we'll have some nice green grass growing (hurr hur 4.20 NEVAR FORGET!!!)
