Pete Rose gambles on a baseball game (not a crime, but it is a MLB rule) gets caught, and is banned from the game for the rest of his life.
Michael Vick gets caught and is conVICKted of a felony dog-fighting charge, pisses off 90% of the country, alienates himself from his entire team, spends a year in prison...... and when he gets out.... he signs a 1 year, 1.6 million dollar contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.
I hope that every Eagles fan protests every game. I hope that the Eagles cannot sell a single seat for home games and goes bankrupt. I hope all the major sponsors of NFL pull out of their contracts (the rednecks know where the beer isle is... and if they forget, they can always watch NASCAR). I hope the NFL takes a huge hit in the wallet and the face for being so damned greedy. Michael Vick should have had to work construction for the rest of his life while volunteering all his spare time at an animal shelter, a veterinary hospital, and a groomer's.
I am so pissed off right now, I don't know what else to say. This is an asinine, and a supremely stupid decision by the NFL.
