Nutrition Question: I go to work with these things: 1 apple, 1 orange, Peanut Butter, 1 serving of low-cal yogurt (80 calories) 2 diet Sprites (0 carbs, 0 calories, 0 caffeine) and optional 1 banana. At my first break, I take ta Diet SPrite and either the apple, core and slice it (love my apple corer/slicer!) and add peanut butter to each slice; or I peel, segment, and then peel the outer layer off each orange slice and eat that. For lunch, I eat whichever of the two are left over, with the yogurt, and a Diet Sprite. Nothing else until I get home, where I eat pretty much whatever for supper.
NOW:
Is this a good basic guideline for a starting diet, or am I missing something, or need to add/omit something? And before you even SUGGEST it, the Diet Sprites are NON NEGOTIABLE. Over my dead body, try it and die, blah blah blah.
P.S. I work at a warehouse doing steady exercise loading wood furniture onto pallets, so my routine does involve heavy lifting (50-100 lbs per box)
