I just spent my entire morning reading Sage's The Symmetrical Transit. If you haven't read it yet, I suggest you do so now. It is 10 chapters long, but who cares? It was so fucking gooooood!

There were so many scenes in that fic that I want to draw, but I can't. Not yet. But I most definitely will after I finish with all the other fic art I have to polish. Almost there, friends! I just got myself a new tablet--an Intuos4, which is a level up from my Graphire. I'm still getting used to it, and so far, the results look better.

Anyway, I feel the need to talk about MJ. Rest in peace. I loved so much of his music--"The Way You Make Me Feel", "Black Or White", "You Are Not Alone", "Smooth Criminal", etc. It was such a shock, especially after learning about Farrah Fawcett before I left for school.

I was driving home from school when I turned on the radio, and the first thing I heard was a girl calling in to confirm that Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson had passed away. And the DJ just said "Yep, it's true. Sad news. Both passed away today." And I swear, I swerved a bit on my lane. So I speeded up a bit, because I wouldn't believe it until I actually went on the Internet and read the news myself.

I can't believe that when MJ died, I was in school, working on a charcoal drawing of gray boxes and white styrofoam cups and balls.

On the other hand, I heard Perez Hilton posted an unsavory article about MJ, but took it down when news broke that he died. What a mancunt, that Perez is. Honestly, I am sick of his "violence is not the answer" mantra. Yes, violence should never be condoned, but when you make a living talking shit about people, you better be prepared for at least one of them giving you the boom-boom-pow.
