I've posted some of my tracks from 1998 up.
I like to hear the old stuff because a lot of it comes from before I knew the "rules"
and tends to have some really odd but creative approaches and song structures.
I didn't have the engineering know how I have now and used mostly samples I ripped from my CD collection and internet sample paks.
There's a bit of an expiremental edge to some of my stuff back then. I hope to post much more soon.
This is probably the most focused works from that era. I did this song called Krumble with a hip-hop / jungle feel to it.
That's my young 21 year old voice on the track.
Every track was produced using good ol' Impulse Tracker. I miss IRC trading.
For some reason plugging in Hex values to trigger samples worked out well for me back then.
I still prefer a lot of my breaks work back then compared to the polished sequencer style I have now.
Anyways, nuff geek speak... Here it is including the original version's Impulse Tracker file zipped up for those still stuck in that time.
The IT file will also play in winamp.
