"Last Respects" is Live at Pseudopod!
My short story Last Respects is now up over at Pseudopod, narrated by Mr. Monday Bloody Monday himself,
scottsigler. And yes, this is the story that got him all choked up (for the record, he's now called me both an ass and a rotten bastard). I'm very grateful to him, for both the slurs and for taking the time out of his busy schedule with the upcoming Ancestor launch. Honestly, I don't think I could've asked for a better reader for this story.
I'm very very proud of this story. I hear from
sailormur that they've been looking for a vampire story for Pseudopod for 30 weeks and mine is the one that really grooved for her and Ben Philips. I don't think I could get a nicer compliment from two people I have nothing but respect for.

Update: In addition to being called an ass and a rotten bastard, Sigler's now said he wants to kick me in the nuts when he meets me. Um, can't wait for that! Actually, I'm starting to think that guy just needs a little love. Maybe he'll settle for some hugs.
