Ever Been Worried the Wrong Guy is Listening to Your Prayers? Stranger Things is Worth Watching!
Has anyone else seen the Stranger Things video podcast? I just watched it on my lunchbreak and it blew me away. If you liked the Twilight Zone and the X-Files, check this vidcast out. The first episode is based on a short story of Scott Sigler's called "Sacred Cow" that I now HAVE to track down. Ever wondered if the wrong person is listening to your prayers? That someone or something's intercepted your pleas to God?
The episode itself isn't perfect but I'm pretty amazed at what they were able to accomplish on a low budget. That said, knowing it's slightly flawed I gotta say it's definitely worth checking out (it's about 30 minutes long). The story hits a lot of groovy spiritual angst buttons for me and now I just can't wait to see more from these guys. (And there's some nice easter eggs, too).
