Yesterday, I massacred thousands of ants and at least one wasp.
Last night, I got critiqued for Loss of Powers and the Christmas horror story (which I'm currently calling Saint Nicholas's Helper) by my face-time crit group.
Today, I am going to record Podcastle stuff and maybe hopefully Balaam's Ass stuff. (That's right! The ASS is coming! Be afraid!)
Tomorrow? I think I'll try and take over the world!
Honestly, I'm a little bit fascinated that while I seem to be taking on more and more responsibilites, my productivity is somehow increasing, too. Hope that lasts!

A long time ago, Emma gave me a CD of Neil Gaiman audio recordings that included The Wolves in the Wall, Cinnamon, The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish, and Crazy Hair. (There's also a bonus track of his daughter interviewing him for a school project.) I've bought Claire a couple of Gaiman's recent books for children, or maybe I just bought them and share them with her *coughDangerousAlphabetcough*. Anyway, she fell in love with Crazy Hair and so I loaded it onto my iPod and played it for her. I was a tad concerned Wolves would be too scary for her, and it was the last one I played for her. It's also become her current favorite. So now everywhere we go, she wants to hear those stories, and if we get home (or somewhere else too soon), she wants to wait until the stories are FINISHED.
So I guess life is good. I only wish I could find some of the copies of The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish and the Wolves in the Wall that I bought before Claire was born.
There's something I can spend all my free time searching for...
