Darwin Was A Pimp

Last night when I came home I found a package on my doorstep. Inside the package was a book. Inside the book was my story.

The book was the Triangulation: Dark Glass anthology. There was the kindest note inside the cover from editor Pete Butler, which made me grin really big. I stared at the thing for a little while, feeling its weight. I posted the cover earlier when the anthology came online but it's breathtaking to look at Vincent Chong's artwork this closely. I love the warm colors, the details, the way the image is seemingly made of patches that come together create a whole image. It's just awesome.

After staring at it for a long time, I took the anthology out to dinner with us and showed anyone who would look at it. Then I took it to bed and stayed up later than I should have reading it.

So. That's my news.

Since we can't all go out for drinks together right now, I'm declaring a party in the comment thread. Make sure you tell me you good news!
