Oliver has a bit of a cold right now, but I think he's on the tail end of it. He sounds like baby Darth Vader. Needless to say, I'm very, very tired, but probably nowhere near as tired as Emma.
I played basketball on my lunch break today. We actually had five guys out there today, so one of us sat out every game, which I think gave everyone a little bit of extra energy. I love playing basketball. I'm not great at it, mostly an aggressive inside game, but lately I've been knocking down a decent amount of shots from the outside. So now they guard me tighter, which means I get to try and drive past them.
Then this afternoon, I'm going up to Mark's to do the Bowflex thing. So, two workouts in one day, two times this week. Pretty good stuff, for me. I haven't been weighing in everyday but I probably should start doing that again. I did weigh in last week and am doing okay so that's cool. Be good to start losing again, though.
Finding time to write has been rough -- I'm on hiatus from the 4am Tribe for now, too tired to get up early and write and too tired to do anything but watch TV and read in the evenings. I did manage to finish a draft of "Beditme for Vampires" that I'm pretty happy with and have sent it out to a small group of beta readers. It's longer than I initially thought it would be, but still only 2,200 words. That could change, I suppose, but I think it will probably stay relatively short. I'm happy that I've been able to knock out a story so quickly after Oliver was born, especially since the last one I tried to write stalled so badly. But hey, maybe I'll go back and take another shot at "Sammy's Girl" now, and then move onto finishing up some other things.
