Ouchies!
My bum hurts from riding my bike on Friday with the girls. When I had my lunch today at work I had to bear the pain. I only did it because my feet hurt more (standing around for a few hours a day can do that). We've been doing markdowns at the store for the whole week. I've been in there 5 days out of the 7 just marking things down and re-shelving things. The first part of the week wasn't so bad because we were doing major moves. Most people don't like this but I do. I get to clear an entire section and make the new display look pretty. YAY! If you drop by the store I can show you exactly what I've done. Well I'll tell you anyways. We have these very bright pretty martini and margarita glasses and several tumblers, and Martini shakers and I made them look pretty near the front window. I also made "Retro Posey" look good (with Dana). Retro Posey is the most god-aweful desighn that I have ever seen. It makes me want to gag looking at it. I can't belive how much of that crap people buy. Yesterday some lady bought over 60 bucks in that suff. And that was the sale price. If she paid regular price that would have been over 120 dollars of that crap. I just smiled and asked "did you find everything you were looking for?" and listened to heard go on about how much she loved the pattern.
Hanging with the crew was fun. It was the first time I had seen any one since p;rom. We rode our bikes, ate a little food, talked, went to the park and played for a bit. good times were had. When I was cleaning my bike I found dirt from 8th grade (that was the last time I rode it). I had a agood time cleaning her up. I remebered a lot of good times. I can't believe how quickly time flys. I remember riding that thing thinking about how one day I wouldn't need it because I would be driving. well that clearly hasn't happened yet, but I sill had fun.
My mom and I also spent an enire day together without screaming at eachother. that was nice. For a while it felt like old times again. Today though, she started complaing about the "mess" on the table. She is feeling much better now. She goes back to work on Wednesday.
