I have known for sometime now that Lucas was going to produce a couple of TV shows. One is a Live Action Star Wars Film set between Ep:3 and Ep:4 detailing the last maneuvers in the Clone Wars, and the hunt for the Jedi (Order 66). What does this all mean? Well do not doubt that he is committed. He is retooling Lucasfilm, and not only is is going to make some TV shows, but he is going to cease making Movies. I imagine that these will at least be of the same productions value as StarGateSG1 or even Battle Star Galactica, if not better. With such a fan following and the financial mesurements detailed in the article below, there is hardly any way he can fail.
