To kick things off, here we have a small starter house, not really meant for any more than a young couple and a single child. This house is based very loosely on a cottage I saw whilst roaming around Edinburgh, though it's turned out very differently. It originally started out being 1 tile shorter across the width of the house, until simsforaranya mentioned that she'd +1'd it. I did the same here, and it's worked out really well. :3
The bottom floor features the major bathroom, a kitchen, and a small sitting area.
The upper floor contains two bedrooms (or one bedroom and a nursery), and a 1x3 tiny bathroom. I have an appreciation for 1x3 bathrooms, so you'll see a lot of those in my uploads. I can't help it, they're useful. 8D
I tried to keep it as CC-free as possible and as such the house is not extensively furnished. It only has the bare basics. This does, however, make it ideal for customising in accordance with your sim's aesthetic tastes. The only CC included is the white recolour of the Chic Staircase by HugeLunatic, seen here. That's the only CC that I'm aware of, but do let me know if something else creeps in. C:
