I finally got to read my Sherlockmas gift, and I loved it! Sally has a dark past, and that's why she can't stand Sherlock--though in the end, it's not Sherlock who figures anything out, but John. Add to that some smoking hot action between Sally and "Anthea", and some mentions of Sherlock/John and Mycroft/Lestrade, and I am one very happy camper.
Go! Read! Enjoy!
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang And, happily, I think my recipient really liked the story I wrote for them. I'm so glad I managed to stick it out--I was very close to giving up on the whole thing plenty of times before I finally finished.
In other news, I had a good Christmas, and got a seriously impressive haul. Including a new vacuum! I'm going to set it up tomorrow, and then the cat hair shall be gone. What more could a guy ask for?
I've just returned to Syracuse, and it's definitely nice to be home, though it's also a bit...weird, I guess, since this is where I've been through most of my recent depression, and I think that makes it easier to get into a bit of a dark mood. But I've been pretty good lately, thank god, and I'm hoping that it'll last. Preferably through the next semester, so that I can repair some of the damage the past year has caused to my GPA.
Yesterday (technically? I have a bit of a weird sleep schedule at the moment) was my third T shot, which means that I'm now at full strength, since my doctor had me doing half-doses for the first two weeks. Today's injection was easy as pie, which was pretty awesome, though I haven't really had any difficulty with the others.
Aaaand...not much more of note, I don't think. I have a lot of catching up to do online, and in my apartment. I got an impressive amount of cleaning done today (if I do say so myself), but there's still a lot to go. Post-semester cleanup, and all that. Luckily, both of my apartment-mates are still at their homes, so I get to clean in peace (by which I mean "in my underwear", of course).
So, here's to getting through another week, I guess!
