Deb was just taken off her flight home to Oklahoma because she was coughing up blood and was transported to St Luke's medical center here in Houston. She's going to need some support and good wishes from us all. Her husband is still in OK with the kids right now, so I don't know what is going to happen with them. Oh my god...and away from home, too. Poor Deb. I'm glad she has friends there with her.

I hope she feels better very quickly...

If you are going to have a medical emergency away from home, Houston is a damn fine place to have a medical emergency.

As it happens, we were still up, but didn't know anything additional on the situation. We called tubin as a useful person to go keep Deb company for a while, and she rocked. As of midnight last night, tubin says Deb was doing better but still coughing up some blood. They're admitting her, and Kevin is flying down this morning. Mason is going to go pick him up at the airport, and take him to the hospital. Updates as we get them.
