Negima Spoiler Alert!

I just read the latest chapter of Negima and wow, plot twist. Who woulda thought that that odd girl that can carry out an entire conversation without saying a word, Zazie Rainday, would be evil. Well, actually, I kind of suspected that something might be up with her (I totally agree with Mana on her comment that in a class with a robot, a time traveler and even a vampire, Zazie being not-normal isn't that big of a revelation), but she's actually more badass than I thought. I want to know what her pactio card does, exactly--I mean, we see Negi and co. get zapped to another AU where Negi's mom and dad haven't vanished (although they have abandoned their son to teach in an all-girl's school in a foreign country). Now, is that the power of her pactio card or something else altogether? Hmmm... Akamatsu-sensei, hurry and release the next chapter! >:O
Also, Fate AKA Tertium rocks my socks. I have to say, I like him way better than Negi (sorry, dude). He's a lot more believable with his GodMod powers of awesome pwndom than Negi is. I mean, we all know that Fate isn't human, so his having amazing martial arts/magic/badass abilities makes more sense than a super-duper-powered ten year old.
I think that we've all forgotten that Negi, despite his rather abnormal level of poise and maturity, isn't even 15 yet. He's ten. T.E.N. He's just a kid, although he never acts like it. It kind of seems to me that Akamatsu-sensei is laying on the whole "super-boy-hero-with-a-Messiah-complex-and-ridiculously-powerful-superpowers" thing a little too thick. I can only suspend my disbelief so far before even I'm going "Wut?!" Speaking of underaged heroes, has no one noticed that most (if not all) of the girls are underage?! Akamatsu, what does it say about you that these underaged girls are constantly found naked or in extremely compromising positions, whether these positions involve their ten-year old teacher (who these girls seem to find oddly attractive), monsters, tentacles or something else? I mean, really, half the time, these girls are shown through up-skirt shots or with their (absurdly large) breasts half hanging out of their extremely tight and revealing clothing. I would feel better about the whole thing if the protagonists were older (say, legal age), but whatever.
Anyhow, back to Fate. I'm very happy that they decided to animate the Magical World Arc (or whatever it's called) and the Chao Arc. I really like Chao and Fate as characters. They have a lot of depth to them and cool abilities. Chao has a tragic (yet unrevealed--Akamatsu-sensei!) past and a master plan to reveal the secret of magic to the world. She's smart, cunning and also a genius. I would've liked to have seen what would've happened if Chao had succeeded in her evil (not so evil, IMO) plan. That would make a cool fanfic, idea, actually. :3 Fate, despite seeming like an emotionless doll, seems to be developing (read:feelings) a lovely relationship with Negi (as in, he wants to kill him). He seems to be expressing emotions that he shouldn't have. Always great to see an antagonist with more scope to them.
Fate mentions a boss in the manga. I bet that the final boss is going to be Nagi! Ha, I can't wait for the final confrontation.
