Yes, Taeyeon's defense mechanism of being sarcastic was harsh and probably unprofessional, but it did have some truth in it. But of course it's her mistake since she's a public figure who is supposed to be polite. SO she was wrong when it comes to that, I do not deny that ( Read more... )

I think that since Tae was sick, it makes sense that it would ave been difficult for her to understand. She sounds like she was in a lot of pain, I would be frustrated, too. People need to stop making a big deal out of everything.

I remember when JJ said something like "JunSu's butt is big. like an African's." It's not the same sentiment, but culturally Korea has those standards and it's not the first time nor will it be the last where someone says something that may seem politically incorrect to us, but will be very common for them.

she's wrong for saying that on air because she's a public figure..
amd maybe she couldve looked for other nurses.. because its sorta impossible for all the nurses tobe on lunch break.. but then again she was sick and maybe her thinking was a bit blurred...

For the hospital thing, I can understand why she was mad but I don't understand why she brought it up in the radio show. I mean the situation would of been annoying for me too but to bitch about it on the radio (it doesn't seem like she even joked about it, it seems like she was still pissed) makes no sense. wow, i thought taeyeon was one of the nice members of SNSD. :(

Oh, and that really sucks she said that about alicia keys....don't get me wrong, I know in Korea and in many asian countries they don't like dark skin, etc. but it's still surprising to hear since singers like Alicia Keys, Beyonce, etc. are very popular in Korea. It's so weird and so sad to hear.....but people everywhere say dumb things about other groups of people openly too which is even sadder.

OH yeah, Taengoo was being real and sarcastic but of course as she's a public figure it's a nono. ;| She didn't think that through very clearly. But of course she was really sick. I think she was really out of it.
I feel like she opened the topic in the first place because she felt as if it was too absurd that she wasn't given a shot just because it was lunch time.

I don't think they're that petty to be pissed off just because she DID NOT get a shot, even if the reason is legitimate. :(
