I always liked the Cheshire Cat so we have something in common. *nods*

Kronos shrugs his shoulders and smiles. "It's a good thing you're at a respectable distance." He stops and takes a good look at the other man. "You got a lot more than the Cheshire Cat smile in common." His smile grows as he moves in for a closer examination.

Kronos nods in a distracted fashion. "There's a certain resemblance. That's probably what they picked up on." He glances down at his notes, then back up at the other immortal. "Something else you want to discuss? I've got research to get back to." His eyes gleam. "I'm almost at a critical juncture."

"Viral proliferation? Ohhh... " He said the words before the actual meaning took hold in his brain. Shifting in the chair he gave the other man an almost indescribable look. This man did not look the part but he'd learned looks often meant nothing.

"Viral, you mean you are working on a vaccination approach to develop prophylaxis against viral infections through immunological prevention? What are you trying to defeat?"

He slanted him a look. "I'm not trying to prevent anything." His wry smile twisted and he nodded. "The key word would be proliferation."

OHHHHH... I see. You are making something to spread sickness... *meets the other man's eyes and changes that remark* Death... Or is this for non-humans, perhaps a pest of some sort?

His expression hardened slightly as his attention was drawn back to his notes. "Perhaps," he said. He glanced over them and made a couple more notations.

"You do not wish to talk about this... do you." It was not a question but fact, Korda knew when the welcome was worn out and reasoned it was almost that time. He rose. "It has been interesting. Thank you for the delightful conversation." His lips curled a bit in what looked like the start of a sarcastic smile but it swiftly became sincere. "Perhaps we can talk again sometime."

He turned to leave but then turned around and added, "I shall leave you to your work then. I have kept you long enough." He set his calling card on the table by the door upon leaving.
