It's not foolish. He was an amazing and loving spirit and a big part of your life story. It will be decades out and you'll still think of him and miss him. And it still won't be foolish. Love you!

There's nothing to be ashamed about. I think that pets are an integral part of the family. Shadow was that *important* in your family that it's only natural to miss him ... even if it's been so many years.

Trust me ... there are some days where I still miss my family beagle, Muffin. And it will be 15 years this September.

Embrace your memories with Shadow ... and never feel foolish for missing him!
