What is the NFL RPS Chat?
It’s a role playing chat using AOL Instant Messenger where we all pick an NFL player and pretend to be that player. There is a designated chat room where everyone can talk at once and many people also privately instant message each other to chat as their NFL player.
Because this is a slash community, most of us portray our NFL player(s) as homosexual or bisexual but that is not a necessity. Often times two (or more) people will pair up and portray their NFL players as being in a romantic/sexual relationship but again this is not a necessity.
Is there a time commitment?
No! You can participate as much or as little as you have the time. We only ask that if you know you’re not going to come back anymore, let us know so someone else can play your NFL player. This is especially important if your NFL player is in a relationship with another player. If you disappear without letting anyone know, we will eventually give the other person permission to do whatever they want with your NFL player.
Who can I play?
Any Football Player (this includes college), Coaches and Staff, Family members of Football Players, pretty much anyone involved in football in any way that is not already claimed.
How many NFL players can I play?
There is no limit as long as you’re actively playing all of the characters you have claimed.
How to Join:
1) Leave a comment with the NFL player (or coach, family member, ect.) that you wish to play
2) Be approved
3) Create an AOL Instant Messenger screen name for your NFL player (Important Note: the Aim Chat feature we use is not compatible with Aim Express, Mobile Aim or Aim for Windows. Most of us use either Aim 7 or Aim 6, both of which can be found on oldapps.com )
4) Send an instant message to my screen name: HarderTomHarder
5) Once you instant message me, I will give you a list of all the other NFL player’s screen names and the chat room location and you can begin chatting.
